Privacy policy

Superior Lawn And Landscaping LLC runs this website. This page explains what we collect when you ask us for a quote, why we have it, who else sees it, and how to get it changed or deleted. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect

Information you give us:

• Your name, phone number, email address, property address and whatever you write in the quote form.
• Anything you tell us in a call, text or email: gate codes, pets, problem areas, scheduling notes.
• Billing records for work we have done and invoices we have sent.

Information that arrives on its own:

• Standard web log and analytics data: which pages you looked at, what site sent you here, roughly where you are based on your IP address, and what browser and device you used.
• If you pay by card, the payment is handled by a payment processor. We see that the payment cleared. We do not store your card number.

Why we have it

• To measure, price and schedule the work you asked about.
• To reach you about a quote, a visit, a change to the schedule, or an invoice.
• To keep the job and billing records a business is required to keep.
• To see which pages on this site are useful and which are not, so we can fix the ones that are not.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it, and we do not hand your address or phone number to a list broker. Your information exists here to get work done on your property and to bill you correctly for it.

Who else sees it

• The people who work for Superior Lawn & Landscaping, limited to what they need to do the job.
• Service providers who run parts of the business for us: the company hosting this website, our email provider, our payment processor and our accountant. Each of them gets only what that job requires.
• Anyone we are legally required to give it to, such as a court order, a subpoena or a tax authority.

Photos of your property

We photograph finished work and use those photos on this site and on social media. We do not publish your name, your street address or anything else that identifies you or the property. If you would rather your property was never photographed, tell the crew or email us and we will leave it out. If a photo of your property is already up and you want it down, ask and we will take it down.

SMS / Mobile messaging

We collect a mobile number when you give us one: on the quote form, over the phone, or in an email you send us. We use it to reach you about your own property — your quote, your schedule, when the crew is coming, and your invoice. That is the only reason we hold it.

Text messages are a separate choice. The quote form has its own checkbox for them. It is never ticked for you, and ticking it is never a condition of getting a quote or of buying anything. Leave it alone and we will reach you by phone and email instead.

• What we would send. Replies about your quote, appointment and schedule changes, crew arrival notices, and invoice reminders. Nothing about anyone else’s business.
• How often. Message frequency varies. There is no set number, because it follows your quote and your service schedule.
• Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Those are set by your mobile carrier, not by us.
• Stopping. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will get one confirmation and nothing after that.
• Help. Reply HELP to any message, or use the contact details at the end of this page.

You can withdraw consent at any time. Reply STOP, or call or email us and ask to be taken off text messaging, and we will note it against your record. Withdrawing consent for texts does not cancel your service and does not stop us calling or emailing you about work in progress.

Mobile opt-in data and phone numbers are never sold, rented or shared with third parties for marketing. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging consent is never shared with anyone. The only parties that ever touch your number are Superior Lawn & Landscaping and the messaging provider that delivers the messages on our behalf, which is not permitted to use it for anything else.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get used, and to record when someone submits the quote form or taps a phone number. That involves cookies or similar storage in your browser, and it means Google processes some data about your visit on our behalf. You can block or clear those cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on, and the site will still work normally. Reviews shown on this site are served by Trustindex, and the maps are embedded from Google Maps; both may set their own storage when they load.

How long we keep it

Quote requests are kept while there is still a chance of doing the work, and then as part of our records. Job, warranty and invoice records are kept as long as tax and warranty obligations require. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless a record is one we are required to hold on to.

Your rights in Texas

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act you can ask us to confirm whether we hold information about you, send you a copy of it, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it. You can also opt out of the sale of personal data and of targeted advertising, though we do neither.

To make a request, email LLCsuperiorlawn@gmail.com or call (940) 597-2916. We may need to confirm you are who you say you are before we act, since most of what we hold is tied to a physical address. We aim to respond well inside the 45 days the law allows. If we turn a request down, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we will explain the outcome in writing.

Security

We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe and limit who inside the company can see it. No website, email account or filing system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If something happens that affects your information, we will tell you.

Children

This site is for homeowners, property managers and businesses. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Other sites

Links out to review sites, suppliers or map providers are outside our control. Their privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

Changes to this policy

If the way we handle information changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. Material changes will be obvious rather than buried.
