Terms of service

Last updated July 28, 2026

These are the terms Superior Lawn And Landscaping LLC works under, and the terms that apply to this website. Your written quote always comes first: it sets the price, the scope and the schedule for your property. This page covers everything the quote does not say. If any part of it is unclear, call (940) 597-2916 and we will explain it in plain language.

Quotes and approval

Quotes are free and itemized. Mowing, sod, mulch and treatment are priced from the measured square footage of the area that needs service. Landscape design, tree and bush trimming, hardscaping and Christmas lights are quoted per project after we walk the property.

A quote is an offer, not a booking. Work is scheduled once you approve it in writing, by email, text or signature. Pricing holds for the period stated on the quote; after that we may need to re-quote, since plant material and hardscape material move with the market.

Changes to the work

If you want something added or changed once the job is underway, we will price it and confirm it with you in writing before we do it. The same goes for conditions we could not see from the surface, such as buried concrete, rock or a drainage problem under a bed. We stop, tell you what we found, and price the fix. We do not run up a bill and explain it afterwards.

Scheduling and weather

Recurring maintenance runs on a fixed route day. Rain, storm damage, standing water and extreme heat move that day, and a wet lawn is usually a reason to wait rather than tear it up. When a visit moves, we pick it up on the next available route day. Project work is scheduled in a window rather than to the hour, because the job in front of yours can run long.

Access to the property

You do not need to be home. We do need to reach every area due for service. Please unlock gates, including any on a lock or code system, and secure pets before the crew arrives. If we cannot get to an area, we service what we can reach and the visit still counts. Let us know about anything on the property that needs care: low-voltage lighting, invisible fence wire, irrigation heads, decorative stone, a plant you want left alone.

Buried lines and utilities

Before we dig we have public utilities located. Private lines are not covered by that service, so marking or telling us about anything you or a previous contractor installed on the property is your responsibility. That includes irrigation lines, invisible fence wire, landscape lighting, gas lines to a grill or pool heater, and septic components. We take care around them, and we are not responsible for damage to private lines we were not told about and could not see.

Payment

  • Recurring maintenance is billed on the cycle stated in your quote. Project work is billed as the quote sets out, which for larger projects usually means a deposit to secure materials and a balance on completion.
  • Invoices are due on receipt unless your quote says otherwise.
  • An account that falls far enough behind may have service paused until it is brought current. We will always tell you before we pause anything.
  • Payments returned unpaid by your bank may carry the fee our bank charges us.

Cancelling or skipping a visit

Tell us before your route day and we will skip a visit or cancel recurring service with no penalty. If we have already loaded and arrived, we may bill for the visit. Cancelling a project after material has been ordered or delivered means the material cost stays with you, since it was bought for your property.

Plants, sod and turf

We install nursery-quality plant material and we plant it to survive a North Texas summer. It is still living material, and after installation it depends almost entirely on water. Watering is the property owner’s responsibility unless the quote says we are handling it. Any replacement coverage is written on your quote or invoice. Coverage does not extend to material lost to under-watering or over-watering, freeze, hail, drought restrictions, pets, animals, vandalism or work done by someone else.

Workmanship

We stand behind our own work. Hardscape is built on an excavated, compacted base with proper edge restraint and drainage, and if something we installed fails because of how we installed it, we come back and fix it. That does not cover normal settling and wear, ground movement in clay soil, damage from other trades, or changes made to the installation after we left.

Existing conditions

We are not responsible for the condition of things that were already failing before we arrived, such as an old irrigation system, a cracked walkway, a leaning retaining wall or a drainage problem we were not hired to solve. If we spot something like that, we will tell you and, if you want, quote it.

Photos of completed work

We photograph finished work and may use those photos on this site and on social media. We do not publish your name or your address alongside them. Tell us and we will leave your property out, or take an existing photo down.

Insurance

If your HOA, property manager or lender needs a current certificate of insurance before we start, ask and we will have it sent to them directly.

Limits on liability

We are responsible for damage our crew causes. Tell us within a reasonable time so we can look at it while the cause is still clear. To the extent Texas law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service the claim is about.

This website

Photos, copy, logos and the marks on this site belong to Superior Lawn And Landscaping LLC and may not be copied for someone else’s business. Prices and service descriptions on the site are general information, not a binding offer. The number on your written quote is the number that counts.

SMS terms

These terms cover Superior Lawn & Landscaping quote and service updates, the text messaging program run by Superior Lawn And Landscaping LLC. You join it by ticking the text message box on our quote form. The box is never ticked for you, and consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

  • Program. Superior Lawn & Landscaping quote and service updates.
  • Message types. Replies about your quote, appointment and schedule changes, crew arrival notices, and invoice reminders. All of it relates to your own property.
  • Frequency. Message frequency varies. It follows your quote and your service schedule rather than a fixed send.
  • Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Those rates are set by your mobile carrier and are your responsibility.
  • Opting out. Reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation and then nothing further.
  • Help. Reply HELP to any message, or use the contact details at the end of this page.

Most major US mobile carriers are supported. Carrier support and handset support can change without notice, and neither is under our control. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier, your device and your signal, so never rely on a text alone for anything time critical — call us instead.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text messaging consent with anyone for marketing. See our privacy policy for how the number itself is handled.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute is handled in the state courts of Denton County, Texas. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands.

Changes to these terms

We update this page when the way we work changes, and the date at the top moves with it. The terms in effect when you approved your quote are the ones that apply to that job.
